HOW TO REMOVE YOUR PRESS-ON NAILS

When it’s time for a change, removal should be just as easy as application. Nail Nation’s soft-gel press-ons are designed to lift away gently — no damage, no drama, no fuss.

Watch our quick video below to see how to safely remove your nails and keep them ready for their next slay.

PRO TIPS

  • Wait until they’re ready: If your nails haven’t started to lift naturally, it’s not time to remove them yet. Forcing removal too early can damage both your natural nails and your press-ons.
  • Take your time: If your nails aren’t lifting easily, soak them for longer — this protects your natural nails and preserves your set for reuse.
  • Add oil: Apply cuticle oil or a light household oil around your nails to help loosen adhesive tabs or glue and make removal easier.
  • Lift from the side: Use a cuticle stick to gently lift from one edge and work across the nail — avoid forcing or bending.
  • Avoid Actone: Harsh removers can damage both your natural nails and your press-ons. Warm water and oil are all you need.
  • Prep for next time: Clean off any remaining adhesive and store your nails in their original tray. Each set can be reused two to three times, giving you more wear, less waste, and better value with every set.
